Acting on the advise of something I read (not always a good idea..lol) I updated my profile this evening, mainly by adding my picture. After a bit of searching I found it in the upper right, a teeny, tiny, itty, bitty little thing that even I can’t tell if it’s me or not…lol.
I’m still trying to find out how to put pictures on my blog but if they have to be that tiny I might be in trouble..lol. All-in-all I find this part damned depressing, but have no idea how to fix it. 😦
I’ve been endlessly busy with my crocheting, with darned little to show for it — also depressing. I’m making squares for the Last Dance (in the Sea) CAL [on Facebook], which fortunately is almost done. These squares have challenged me, taunted me, made me cry and shout with joy…lol.
Just this past week I’ve begun the Princess Afghan, also on Facebook, which I think I’m going to enjoy almost as much as I did the Queen’s Afghan, by the same designer “Annamarie Joubert-Esterhuizen.” Although Annamarie is in South Africa her patterns are easy (for me) to understand and I’m thrilled to be part of this process again.
I’ve toyed with a few other CALs, some US led, others from Europe and South Africa. I haven’t gotten very far with these particular CALs, lots of reasons (excuses?) really, but I’m downloading the files and I hope to get to them eventually.
In case I don’t write again before the holiday, I hope everyone has a safe and blessed Fourth of July. Take care y’all!
