I’ve joined “Mom’s Demand Action,” to work to keep our kids and grands safe from guns. There are any number of events coming up all across the nation, but the biggest one is on March 24, a “March for Our Lives” where a number of kids, parents and other supporters from Florida will be marching in Washington, DC. If you Google “Mom’s Demand Action” you’ll find loads of information for your area and for the fingerless gloves they hope to be wearing. I found a couple of free patterns on Ravelry, but since I don’t have permission, pattern pictures aren’t allowed. Here are the links to those however:
I don’t usually put anything like this on my blog, but it’s so important to me I thought I’d share the links for y’all.
From the website I found:
We’ve had enough. Thoughts and prayers are not enough to honor the victims of gun violence. What we need now is action.
On March 24, 2018, students will rally in Washington D.C and in local communities across the country to demand action from our leaders. Join us in the March For Our Lives, as we fight for an America that is free from gun violence.
Join us on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol to be part of this movement.
